To generate disciple-making movements in our city and around the world, making disciples who make disciples to the fourth generation. Everything we do is to accomplish this goal.

We make disciples of Jesus who are connecting people into safe, grace-based community, who are inviting people to engage with the Bible in accessible ways, and who are bringing people with them to reach out to our city and world with the hope of God.
Our Values:
- We believe that we are better together, so we practice unity and collaboration with other churches in Fort Wayne and around the world.
- We desire for Avalon to reflect the beauty and diversity of the family of God in race, age, socio-economic status, and more.
- We believe that the church should be the safest place in the world to be honest and talk about anything.
- At Avalon, you can belong before you believe, so anyone is welcome at our church.
- We believe that the church is best lived out 168 hours a week. We practice this through small communities called Reach Groups.
- As a church, we value relationships over programs, so that is how we prioritize our time.
- We believe that you don’t have to be an expert to engage with the Bible. We strive to make the Bible accessible for everyone, no matter where they are on their faith journey.
- We want every person in our city to know that they matter and that the grace of God is offered to them.
