Sozo is a Greek word that is found throughout the New Testament, meaning: To save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction. To save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e., one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health. To preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue.
Sozo’s mission statement is God + People, meaning that we strive to be a community of faith, hope, and love demonstrating the reality of God. Believing that our purpose is to glorify God through experiencing God’s affection and engaging with God’s agenda, Sozo Church is determined to preach the gospel, produce genuine disciples, and partner in the global mission of Jesus.
