Capital Church exists “to lead people to become Christ-centered disciples.” Discipleship is at the center of everything we do. If you had to sum up our community in a word, it would be the word “disciple.” Jesus summed up the life of the disciple in the Gospel of Matthew when he said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Matthew 22:37-39). As a team, we are fiercely committed to making disciples of Jesus within our church, our community, and around the world. We recognize the most effective way to make disciples is to be disciples, so we prioritize the spiritual journey of each member of our Capital staff. How you’re doing is more important than what you’re doing, and we hold each other up with encouragement and accountability as we journey together.
Capital Church meets in Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah. Both locations offer kids ministry, student ministry, small groups ministry, and outreach. We currently host 4 weekend gatherings: two Saturday services (5:00pm in Park City, 7:00pm in Salt Lake) and two Sunday services (9:15am and 11:00am in Salt Lake).
