Maplewood started in 1965 out of a desire to see the gospel spread throughout Sedalia and Pettis County. Our mission is Engaging People, Discovering Jesus, Transforming Lives. We work to see the gospel lived out locally and internationally. Maplewood maintains a strong, Bible-focused and family-oriented ministry with vibrant programs for children and youth. God has blessed us with over thirteen acres of land and multiple buildings. We support Ponca Bible Camp in Ponca, Arkansas for children and youth. Applewood Christian School meets in our facilities. We desire to mold generations of God-fearing men and women who love Jesus Christ, are devoted to His Word, practice His principles, and make His name known to the world around us.
