In October 1989 five families came together to plant a mission church to reach East Parker County for Christ. By April 1991, Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church was formed. Today, the church is known as Lakeshore Baptist Church and serves the communities of Hudson Oaks, Weatherford, and Aledo. Lakeshore exists to restore lives in Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to making disciples by: Reaching communities, Refining relationships, and Revealing the kingdom of God.
As Kris Raven became the fourth Pastor in January 2023, the church was experiencing a spritual renwal. Pastor Kris has challenged the congregation to pursue Christ daily by making disciples that know how to make disciples. Together, we are seeking to reach our communities by, building relationships that reflect biblical community, and inviting people into a life transforming relationship with Christ.
