Grace Baptist Church is a friendly congregation that seeks to impact our community with the gospel. We have a blended worship service with a focus on Bible-based preaching and spiritual growth. Located in the county seat, the congregation includes a mix of ages and both professional and trade workers, with many in agriculture-related careers. The 33-year-old congregation is beginning to develop “second-generation” members but, for the most part, attendees have chosen Grace for its meaningful worship, caring fellowship, and biblical emphasis. The only Baptist church in rural Palo Alto County, Grace is an elder-led church that emphasizes congregational involvement. We put a priority on ministry to children and youth, focusing on discipleship, spiritual disciplines, and equipping them for independent decision-making and godly living. For adults, we strive to develop close relationships and build disciples through Sunday school, worship, and small groups. We are outreach-oriented, seeking to communicate the gospel to our community with frequent events and projects. Grace is an independent Baptist church in fellowship with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches. We are an imperfect church full of imperfect people with hearts for serving our perfect God as He leads us.
