The Glade Church is a growing regional church located in a developing out county to Nashville, Tennessee (we are immediately off a new transportation corridor around Nashville). The church has a clear vision (To be a people with a passion for God and a place with a passion for people for the Glory of God), a clear core purpose (To glorify God through the spiritual transformation of individuals, families, our communities, and the world through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ) and a clear process (Come/Worship: come into a relationship with God and worship Him individually and corporately. Connect/Grow: connect with other believers in small groups where we can grow in our faith. Serve/Go: serve God and others though ministry and missions teams.).
We are in the early process of implementing our Vision 2020 to multiply to God's glory in eight areas: Worshippers, The Church (multiple sites), The Connected, The Word, The Servants, The Called, Young Adults, 55+. We are led by Dr. Bruce Grubbs and a long tenured and dedicated staff, deacons (servant leaders), and lay leaders.
Besides passionate contemporary worship, many on-going and short term connect groups, and vibrant age-level ministries, we have unique outwardly-focused ministries including a home-build ministry, automotive ministry, ministry with local public elementary school, quilt ministry, mission response team ministry, and other local, national, and international missions.
Our Senior Pastor has announced his retirement in late 2015 and has put in place a comprehensive process to transition to new senior leadership. He will complete 27 years of service at that time.
