Contemporary Worship Leader

First Baptist Church of The Woodlands is a growing suburban church with three worship services, two styles, and one purpose.

We are currently seeking a worship leader for our new third worship service. This service, though contemporary, will be distinctly different from our second contemporary service. We are looking for someone who loves Jesus Christ and loves to express their love for Him through music as well as someone who wants to build relationships and help grow the Kingdom of God through the local church. The Worship Leader will serve as an associate to the Worship Pastor and will lead worship for the third worship service, lead band rehearsals, lead Student Worship on Wednesday evenings, and help enlist and train new worship team members. This position is part-time.

Qualifications:
• Experience working within multi-staff church structure both paid and volunteer
• Proficient in voice and at least one instrument
• Basic musical theory, scoring and composition skills
• Experience in leading worship bands and instrumentation
Salary based on experience.
