Job Description
Coordinator/liaison for all campus activities relating to regular chapel services including on site supervision (i.e. Kaleo, Liturgical, West Campus, East Campus, INTL, Senior, etc…). This includes communicating expectations leading Media Services and Student
staff, coordinating with Chapel Programs personnel, and ensuring technical aspects of the events are followed. Including supervising on a rotating basis on site all campus wide chapels. Including the support of all Kaleo DVD Production for the Campus Pastor.
Coordinating all Video and graphics (Not limited to but including digital signage and special projects) with creative direction/partnership from the Video Production Manager and direction from the Associate Director and Sr. Producer of Media Events.
Coordinate and lead university special events as directed by the Associate Director and Sr. Producer of Media Events.
Partner with the Associate Director/Sr. Producer in the entire Life Cycle of an event/production.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Associate Director/Sr. Producer of Media.
Understanding (“The Win” for IMT Media Services) and living it in their daily work life and able to cite it: “Enthusiastic Returning Customers.”
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Graphics Production, or the equivalent plus 3 - 5 years of professional experience.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven leadership experience in live events and/ or media production.
- Proficient in the use and operations of AV equipment and software including Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and Chyron.
- Basic knowledge of overhead safety rigging.
- Basic knowledge of studio audio recording.
- Working knowledge of technical aspects pertaining to live productions: Graphics, Staging, Video, Audio, and Lighting
- Operating knowledge of video equipment, especially switchers, routers, monitors, and camera’s.
- Operating knowledge in editing, rendering, and graphics creations.
- Ability to integrate media content and quality with biblical knowledge and the university’s mission.
- Advanced proficiency in both Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
- Proven experience as a team leader.
- Able to commit and meet project timelines.
- Service orientated with the ability to organize, prioritize/delegate tasks while transferring knowledge and expertise to empower clients and users.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to relate to all levels of an organization. Front line workers to the president.
- Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro and After Effects.
- Creations and designs of graphics in media and print.
- Knowledge in Pro Presenter software.
Primary Duties/Essential Functions
- During events this position regularly will lead/direct: Peers, Staff, Faculty, and Students.
- Coordinates with the Assistant Director and Producer of Media and the entire team of IMT Media the entire Life Cycle of an event production.
- Responsible for the creation & design of graphics for chapel and special events, serving as graphics quality & design expert. As directed by the Video Production Manager and Associate Director & Sr. Producer of Media.
- All business and communication relating to regular chapel services.
- On a rotating basis be on site for coordination of all chapels on campus. (i.e. Kaleo, International, Liturgical, East Campus, West Campus, etc….)
- Responsible for the creation, coordination, and design of graphics for all special events.
- Main point of contact for any and all chapel business relating to the operation of Chapel Media.
- Coordinates Special Events.
- Oversees Student Graphic coordination providing mentoring and coaching to the students.
- Implements & creates client targets, goals, programs, and services to create results orientated graphics productions as directed by the Video Production Manager and the Associate Director & Sr. Producer of Media Events.
- Creates innovative presentations of the content as directed by the Video Production Manager and Associate Director and Sr. Producer of Media.
- Partners with University Relations in the coordination, design aspects, and content of Digital Signage across the University.
- Ability to be on site to work events on evenings and weekends as directed by the Associate Director and Sr. Producer of Media Events.
- Collaborating in overall direction and strategies for IMT Media Services.
- Partner/develops, and trains both students and staff members in the creation and creativity in the area of graphics design.
- Constantly training and inspiring student and staff workers to achieve excellence in their daily work life.
- Research & implement emerging trends in media equipment and distribution and how it be applied and used to enhance the student university experience.
- Pursue and influence professional education in your multiple field of expertise.
- Perform and assignments and other tasks as assigned by the Video Production Manager and the Associate Director and Sr. Producer of Media Events.
- Implements & Creates innovative presentations of the content as directed by the Video
Production Manager and the Associate Director & Sr. Producer of Media Events. Contributes in the development and overall internal planning sessions to ensure creative and appropriate events.
